The most exciting time was when she finished her ASFA field championship
on her fourth try by going Best Of Breed and the Tri-State Whippet Club's
Coursing Specialty in Lexington, KY in March of '88 with an entry of 42.
She is 3 single points shy of her breed championship. Her competition came
to halt when she had a serious running injury while running on home grounds
at almost 8 years old. She had just completed an AKC Best In Field for 5
points several weeks before. This effectively stopped her from completing
her AKC FCh.
She was second in the American-bred class of 17 at the '88 National. Isabel Stoffers was the judge. Then in '92 she was second in the racing and lure
coursing bitch class of 10 with Peggy Newcombe judging.
She had bore two youngster who were shown to their breed championships.
Her Ch. daughter bore two who in turn earned their breed championships.
In coursing three of her youngsters attained their senior courser
titles. Multi Best In Field Wynmor A Zip Strip SC FCh. "Lady's" two breed
champion grandchildren have their senior courser titles and her grandson has
his CGC title. (Good Canine Citizen)
